Behavioral-Based Interviewing Lunch & Learn with Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Date: Tuesday, March 29, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location: Setzer Student Center room 120

Join representatives from Enterprise Holdings to find out what behavioral-based interviewing is, how to best prepare to answer the questions asked and more! Free lunch will be provided. You must for this event through Handshake by March 23 to receive the meal provided.

Department of Art and Design to host Iron Pour

The Department of Art & Design will host their Iron Pour on March 31 in the Art Foundry at 11:30 a.m. Guest artists include Rachel Schwind Gardner and Kelley Devine from Houston Baptist University.

“They Will Talk About Us: The Charlton-Pollard Storyâ€‌ - Student/Staff Session

Date: Thursday, March 31, 2:30-3:30 p.m.
Location: Science Auditorium 100

Students, faculty and staff are invited to join us for a special event featuring a screening of “They Will Talk About Us: The Charlton-Pollard Story.” Developed in conjunction with a short illustrated history, this 32-minute documentary film chronicles the origins of one of the oldest Black neighborhoods in Beaumont, Texas. The public screening session will take place at 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Dishman Auditorium.

Department of Art and Design presents: The Real Housewives of Ancient Etruria

As part of the Art History Guest Lecture Series, the Real Housewives of Ancient Etruria will be held March 31 at 6 p.m.. The lecture will be led by Bridget Sandhoff, associate professor of art history at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

The Department of Theatre and Dance Presents "SPLIT"

The second production of the season, "SPLIT," written by Texas native Allison Moore and directed by Alan Brinks, will be held on April 7-9 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance on April 10 at 2 p.m. Ticket prices range from $7-$15 and are on sale now at .

Admitted Student Day

Inviting all admitted freshmen to Admitted Student Day where حوإ¼½م½م will assist you in completing the housing contract, setting up your LEA account, turning in documents, checking TSI status, answering scholarships and financial aid questions, enrolling in classes and touring campus and/or the residence hall.

3rd Annual Recovery and Resiliency Summit Registration

Registeration for the Recovery and Resiliency: Building A Collaborative Community 3rd Annual Research Summit is now open. New Electric Vehicle Charging Station on Campus

Hi, my name is Supritha Muthuraju! I’m a nursing student, a tutor and have been a supplemental instruction leader since fall of 2021. SI sessions are my personal favorite because they are fun and beneficial especially if you are an active learner. Deprecation of legacy email protocol starting March 28

Beginning March 28, حوإ¼½م½م will no longer support certain legacy email protocols that will affect non-Outlook users such as Thunderbird. This change is intended to improve email security and is anticipated to affect a very small percentage of حوإ¼½م½م email users (0.005%). Learn more about this change and check to see if you are impacted.

CMMS Hosts Major Issues Facing the Midstream Industry in 2022 Webinar

The Center for Midstream Management and Science hosted its first webinar of 2022 on March 2 addressing “Major Issues Facing the Midstream Industry.” This webinar reflected results of the Midstream Center’s first inaugural survey on major issues facing the midstream industry published in late 2021 by CMMS.

The Center for History and Culture Fellowships Available

The Center for History and Culture invites applications for research and creative fellowships up to $5000 to support the production, curation and transmission of knowledge about Southeast Texas and the greater Gulf Coast. The CHC welcomes applications from any scholarly discipline or creative field. The application deadline is April 1.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available

Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all حوإ¼½م½م/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.

The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for حوإ¼½م½م and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
