Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Search Presentations

Íæż½ã½ã is pleased to welcome three candidates for the position of Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs. Each finalist will present to Íæż½ã½ã faculty, staff and students in a community forum. Updates to the candidates and schedule are as follows:
Dr. Daniel Brown - May 23, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Dr. Shafik Dharamsi - May 25, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Dr. Melissa Gruys - June 1, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Community presentations will be held in Price Auditorium at the John Gray Center, Herman Ilse Building. Candidates will deliver a 15-20 minute presentation followed by a Q&A session for those in attendance.

LinkedIn Learning Now Free to All Faculty & Staff
The Office of Human Resources is pleased to announce that LinkedIn Learning is now available for free to all Íæż½ã½ã faculty and staff. Formerly Lynda.com, LinkedIn Learning is a leader in online training, with a library of more than 16,000 fully online courses covering a wide range of technical, business, software and creative topics. Under the Faculty/Staff tab, click the LinkedIn Learning icon and log in using your LEA username and password you use to access other Lamar services. After activating your account, you can easily access LinkedIn Learning 24/7 through . CMMS Expands the Portfolio of Midstream-Centric Research Papers via Midstream Information Pathfinder
Íæż½ã½ã’s Center for Midstream Management and Science has expanded the portfolio of midstream-centric research papers accessible via its unique Midstream Information Pathfinder portal from approximately 12,900 to 20,000 research papers.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Íæż½ã½ã/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for Íæż½ã½ã and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
