Juneteenth Freedom Day
Date: June 19, 4-9 p.m. Location: Main Street, Downtown Beaumont
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, is celebrated annually on June 19 to commemorate the end of slavery. On this day in 1856, Union soldiers landed in Galveston, Texas to announce the news. More information, local events and resources are listed on the Office of Diversity and Inclusion website.

Dr. Golden Wright named interim director of the College of Fine Arts and Communication

CMMS Expands the Portfolio of Midstream-Centric Research Papers via Midstream Information Pathfinder
Íæż½ã½ã’s Center for Midstream Management and Science has expanded the portfolio of midstream-centric research papers accessible via its unique Midstream Information Pathfinder portal from approximately 12,900 to 20,000 research papers.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Íæż½ã½ã/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for Íæż½ã½ã and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
