Post Disaster - Emergency Management and Criminal Control Workshop
Date: Tuesday, July 26 & Wednesday, July 27, 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Location: CICE 113 A&B
The workshop provides a learning platform that incorporates academic findings with SETX law enforcement practices, emergency management and SETX public officials for post-disaster and emergency management. The training event is made available to the local community stakeholders.

New “Internet of Things†Wireless Network
On July 18, 2022, I.T. Network Services will be deploying a new wireless network named “حوإ¼½م½مnet-IOT.” The purpose of this new wi-fi network will be to support non-standard devices that are being used for research and teaching purposes that do not support our standard campus security standards. Access to this network is available via request only. You may request access by using this request form or contacting the حوإ¼½م½م Service Desk at 409-880-2222 or servicedesk@lamar.edu. Fiscal Year-End 2022 Procedures & Dates
حوإ¼½م½م year end processes ensure that the university’s business is conducted in full compliance with state laws and policies. Human Resources would like to announce the rollout of a group email for the recruiting team! Moving forward, you will be able to submit recruiting-related requests and documents to HRRecruiting@lamar.edu. This will help streamline communications while reducing confusion about to who reach out to when a recruiting need arises!
Below is a short list of items that can be sent to the recruiting group email, including but not limited to: • F3.1 requests • Position open/close requests • Offer requests • Hiring packets • Scoring matrices • Questions for recruitment updates • Questions regarding the recruitment process

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all حوإ¼½م½م/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for حوإ¼½م½م and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
