New Proctoring Solution for Fall 2022
Date: Thursday, August 4, 10 - 11 a.m. Location: Virtual
Starting with fall 2022 semester, Honorlock will be the new proctoring service for Íæż½ã½ã. Proctorio will continue to be used through the end of summer 2022 session. Virtual training for Honorlock is scheduled for Aug. 4 from 10-11 a.m. Further information will be sent from CTLE.

2022 SURF Symposium
Date: Friday, August 5, 2-4:45 p.m. Location: Executive Conference Room of Reaud Honors bldg. - Room 120
The Office of Undergraduate Research cordially invites all students, faculty and staff to attend the 2022 SURF Symposium. Twelve undergraduates will give oral presentations about exciting research projects they conducted over the summer at Lamar, as recipients of the prestigious Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships.

Summer 2022 Commencement
Date: Saturday, August 6, 10 a.m. Location: Montagne Center
Íæż½ã½ã will confer more than 845 degrees during its summer 2022 Commencement Ceremony for the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Human Development, Engineering and Fine Arts & Communication, held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6 in the Montagne Center. Graduates and guests may also view the ceremony live.

Bounce Back: Art Making & Resiliency Exhibition
Date: Now until Saturday, August 6 Location: Dishman Art Museum
The “Bounce Back: Art Making & Resiliency” exhibition encompasses the art work of eight Region 5 art educators that, through artmaking strategies, are exploring issues of resiliency, rebuilding, climate change, social justice and the pandemic.

Fiscal Year-End 2022 Procedures & Dates
Íæż½ã½ã year end processes ensure that the university’s business is conducted in full compliance with state laws and policies. Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 ends on Aug. 31 and the deadlines for year-end processes will ensure that expenditures made during the year will be charged appropriately. Learn more about Procurement Services.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Íæż½ã½ã/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for Íæż½ã½ã and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
