The week features a slate of activities on campus for students to enjoy, culminating Saturday, Oct. 1, when the Cardinals football team will take on Houston Christian University in Provost Umphrey Stadium. |

Technology | Photography | Humanity - Working at the Intersection of Art & Science
Date: Friday, Sept. 30, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Location: Dishman Art Museum, Auditorium
Four multidisciplinary artists, Linda Alterwitz, Dornith Doherty, Rashed Haq and Liz Hickok, discuss incorporating STEM technologies and themes into their respective art practices. This event, held in the Dishman Art Museum Auditorium, follows up with the opening reception for the art exhibit, "Crystal Realities to Artificial Intelligence."

Fall FestiFUL
Date: Wednesday, Oct. 5, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Location: Dining Hall Lawn
More than 13 local farmers and vendors will come together on Íæż½ã½ã’s campus to share their goods, meet with students and create meaningful memories as the school year kicks off. The event, called “,” is put on by Chartwells Higher Education, Íæż½ã½ã’s food service provider, and will be hosted virtually by celebrity chef Jet Tila. There will be prizes, games and shopping opportunities with the vendors. We will also have a specially crafted fall menu in the dining hall.

National Stuttering Association Beaumont/Lamar Chapter Meeting

Department of Theatre & Dance Opens "The Clean House"

"The Clean House" is a play by Sarah Ruhl. A 2005 finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama, this wildly theatrical and funny play is a whimsical and poignant look at class, comedy and the true nature of love. Tickets are for purchase.

COVID-19 Vaccines Available
Free COVID-19 vaccines (Moderna and Pfizer) are available at the Student Health Center to all Íæż½ã½ã/LIT students, faculty and staff. You must register for an appointment.
The Student Health Center is also offering COVID-19 booster vaccines for eligible students, faculty and staff for Íæż½ã½ã and LIT campuses. Eligibility criteria can be found on the CDC website. Please fill out the registration form for an appointment.
