Lamar Opera Theatre to Present "Der Betrogene Kadi" on April 14

Civil Engineering Redfish Classic to be Held April 15

Íæż½ã½ã's American Society for Civil Engineers will hold a fishing tournament April 15, along with a captains dinner April 14. Ten percent of all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society and the rest will go toward funding our conventions and competitions.

The FY23 Inventory Verification from May 1 - June 15
The state of Texas requires Íæż½ã½ã to conduct an annual verification of its property. This is no small task, with over 10,000 assets distributed among 125 departments. The list of assets to be verified will be sent to each department's property custodian on May 1 and is due June 15. More information is available.

Slaughter Named to Texas School Safety Center
Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed E. Michael Slaughter to the Texas School Safety Center Board for terms set to expire Feb. 2025. The board reports to the governor, legislature, state Board of Education and the Texas Education Agency regarding school safety and security.
