Parking Office Updates Events Policy
The parking office has updated its policy regarding gate request and reserve spaces for events. All gate request and reserve spaces can be done through the Event Request Form. Please request gate access or reserve parking spaces at least three days in advance.

Library Receives Collection on African Americans in the Petroleum Industry
Special collections of the Mary and John Gray Library received a collection from Mary Barrett, who's the geology professor emeiti of Centenary College and an oilfield historian. Barrett's papers include meticulous research on the lives of Blacks in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas who worked in the oil fields. Barrett is an alumnus of Stephen F. Austin and Johns Hopkins and has also written 16 articles published in journals about the impact oil field waste has on the environment.
