Policies to Note for Graduation This Weekend

Please remember that there is a clear bag policy in place and no other bags will be allowed into graduation this weekend. Saving seats at the graduation ceremony is not permitted. KVÍæż½ã½ã Pop-up Exhibit On View Through August 3
"KVÍæż½ã½ã: Rewind…In Pictures" will be on view at the Dishman Art Museum through Saturday, August 3. The exhibit features archival photographs and memorabilia that highlight the early days (and people) of KVÍæż½ã½ã long before computer automation, digital media and internet streaming.

Lamar Audiology Summer Services Available

The Íæż½ã½ã Speech and Hearing Clinic offers audiology services as a benefit of employment to employees, their insurance-covered dependents, or to currently enrolled students, with no out-of-pocket expenses. Prepare for hurricane season with the Íæż½ã½ã Center for Resiliency Smartstorm disaster training and receive a backpack complete with emergency supplies to assist you and your family in the event of a disaster. Bring your participation verification to the Signature Center suites located in the Cherry Engineering Building on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

2024 Digital Ticket Learning Technologies Conference

Free online registration is now open for the 2024 Digital Ticket Conference. Registered attendees will attend sessions centered on digital learning and the latest in educational technology. First Generation Connections Launches This Fall
The Íæż½ã½ã Office of Strategic Initiatives is launching First Generation (First Gen) Connections this fall. The purpose is to engage first-generation students using holistic approaches to advance curricular and co-curricular outcomes and transform their college experience. The First Gen Connections program is for students whose parent(s) did not complete a four-year degree. Learn more at lamar.edu/firstgen.

New Course Evaluation System Launching Summer 2024
Starting Summer 2024, Íæż½ã½ã will begin using a new student course evaluation system from Watermark. Students will receive an email inviting them to participate.
