Sustainability Committee Meeting

- Marketing – Monday update, FB, Twitter, monitors throughout campus, sandwich boards, invite people in the morning, banner on the tent
- The committee will brainstorm ways to help the custodians recycle. This might involve purchasing more supplies such as separate rolling cans for recycling & trash. Check into sustainability training/certifications that are available.
- Alicen will see if the Green Squad can make a video about what can and can’t be recycled.
- We will see if walking paths can be incorporated into the LiveSafe ap.
- The committee will develop policies on single-use plastics, LEED silver specs for all remodels and upgrades, and paperless campus requirements to be presented to the administration.
- Marc and Alicen will work on ways to encourage departments to purchase sustainable or recycled products whenever possible.
- A Green Office program will be drafted to present to the administration.
