The Íæż½ã½ã Ambassadors Program is now accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic school year. Íæż½ã½ã Ambassadors represent the study body at official executive level university functions. Individuals chosen to serve as Íæż½ã½ã Ambassadors work to promote university pride among students, alumni and friends of the university; have a high level of involvement on campus; and are well informed about the university and what it has to offer students, alumni and the community. Íæż½ã½ã Ambassadors are among the best and brightest student leaders at the university.
To apply for membership in the Lamar Ambassadors an applicant must:
- Be a full time, officially registered Íæż½ã½ã undergraduate student who is in good standing with the university
- Have completed at least one full semester at Íæż½ã½ã and have at least three full semesters left at Íæż½ã½ã after application deadline
- Have and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0
- Submit an Ambassadors application including a letter of interest, transcript, faculty/staff recommendation, and resume
- Have approval from his/her college dean
