Holocaust Portraits of Survial Exhibit

Portraits of Survival is a traveling Holocaust exhibit featuring a black and white photo gallery of individuals from Nebraska’s Holocaust survivor and military liberator community. The event is in observance of International Holocaust Remembrance Day. See a full list of events.

Department of Biology Research Open House and Poster Session

IT Security Awareness Training Rollout
Human Resources and IT has announced the rollout of the updated Security Awareness Training for FY 23. This training is mandatory, per state regulations, and will be reported on at the end of FY 23. Please watch your inboxes as we begin the rollout for this training. You can expect a notification to log in and complete the training on or about Jan. 17. Student Printing Service Update
Íæż½ã½ã Information Technology has expanded the student printing services offered on campus to now include color printing, scanning, copy and fax. In addition, students can now print directly from a personal device and add additional funds using a credit card.

EAP Interface Behavioral Health
Íæż½ã½ã provides an benefit that is available to employees, spouse, and dependents at no cost. The EAP provides support with personal issues, planning life events, and/or work related concerns.

Updates to Íæż½ã½ã Wi-Fi
Íæż½ã½ã I.T. Network Services updated the security certificate for Íæż½ã½ãnet wi-fi on Jan. 6. Please note that if you are having issues connecting to wireless, restart the connection process by first connecting to the join Íæż½ã½ã Wi-Fi network and completing a new enrollment process. Detailed instructions can be found at www.lamar.edu/wifi along with contact information should you need further assistance.

Covid Boosters Available at Student Health Center
The Student Health Center has the Pfizer Bivalent booster shot available to all students, faculty, and staff who have completed the initial vaccination series regardless of who manufactured the initial series. Please call 409.880.8466 for an appointment.
