Web Governance Policy
The Office of Web Communication and all departmental web liaisons, publishers and contributors work together to maintain the lamar.edu website and all of its subsites according to best practices and at the highest quality possible.
Web governance refers to people, policies, procedures, standards and guidelines that govern the creation and maintenance of the Íæż½ã½ã official website and digital properties. These include:
- Pages managed in the content management system
- Íæż½ã½ã Intranet
- Campus calendar
- College websites
- Blogs created and managed within lamar.edu
- Externally focused applications and services
- E-newsletters
- Other tools supporting electronic communications.
To that end, this policy outlines the management and governance of the Íæż½ã½ã web environment.
