Lamar Introduction to Engineering (L.I.T.E.)
Rising 6th graders are invited for a week-long day camp where they will participate in hands-on activities and lessons intended to introduce them to the concepts of engineering and the various disciplines of the field. Campers will work with faculty members and Íæż½ã½ã engineering students, as well as guest engineers from local industry, throughout the week.

Time: 9am-4pm
Fee: L.I.T.E. Camp is offered at no cost to campers thanks to industry sponsorship
Application requires a copy of a recent report card and the teacher evaluation document available on this page. Please have those documents ready to upload before applying.
Please email bsmith67@lamar.edu to be added to the waitlist with your student's name, date of birth, and grade level they are entering in 2024-2025.
